Nearly half (48 percent) of the public rejects the scientific theory of evolution; one-third (34 percent) of college graduates say they accept the Biblical account of creation as fact.
This incredible statement comes from this article on Newsweek talking about American beliefs and no, unfortunately it’s not April fools yet.

CERN is building the Large Hadron Collider, a gigantic particle accelerator 10 times bigger than what was tried so far. They are reusing the 27 kilometers long circular tunnel that used to house the Large Positronic Collider. They are gonna use it to experiment with subatomic particles, colliding proton beams to see what happens, what strange particles get created, how anti-matter looks like and so on.
In the process they could break the continuum creating space-time singularities (e.g. black holes), and stuff like that. During the first tests, they broke a magnet 13 meters long, just because asymmetrical forces were applied. Let’s hope for the best.

So after a couple months I’m back in Manhattan. I’m staying one week. Luckily enough I arrived after the snow storm was gone and today was very sunny. I’m trying to plan for the weekend. Any suggestions?

Last night I’ve been at Supperclub in Rome. It was Marco’s birthday party and there was lots of people from work. The interesting thing about this place is that the dinner party happens in a sort of gigantic bed. Between pillows and bed linen you sit side by side with people, without shoes, drinking and eating, so you’re pretty much forced to meet people and small talk with them. On top of this, you get shiatsu massages provided by a professional. This is about the most relaxing and socializing party experience you can get.
Yes, I know. I haven’t blogged in the last two months. Jessica asked for news and where I’m hiding. I’m happy she pushes me to blog more. Knowing there is somebody out there who cares for this mostly useless thing is a great motivating factor. Go Jessica go!
I was a bit busy working and traveling around and laziness temporarily won, but don’t worry, I’ll keep on blogging!
